WWII GERMAN TUNIC IN ITALIAN CAMO
Following the capitulation and disarmament of most of the Italian armed forces in 1943, stocks of Italian material were used by Germany to meet the increased demand for equipment in the face of the slowly deteriorating wartime economy. This tunic has Mountain troop shoulder boards and a nice sleeve eagle and looks to be sewn on originally. the only markings are under a seam and looks like it is for the material bulk lot.
WWII GERMAN FELDGENDARMERIE ARMBAND
Extremely rare Armband worn by surrendered Feldgendarmerie who worked for the British in 1945. They were organized by Generalleutnant Wilhelm Hunold Stockhausen with Allied permission as a purely administrative body to bring some organization to the mass of disarmed German military personnel under British control. Yellow cotton body with blue stamping the Armband is in generally very good condition with an undecipherable property stamp over the printing. Extremely rare and short lived with only one other existing example I have been made aware of, this Armband, formerly part of the Gordon Williamson collection is a fascinating artifact from a little known part of early post was history.
