RAD MEMBER'S COMMEMORATIVE LAPEL STICK PIN
The 16mm x 22mm vertical oval pin has a pebbled red surround, with gilt edging inside and out, and, to its central white field, the RAD emblem of an upright, pointed spade head with a mobile swastika to its center and dual sheaves of wheat projecting diagonally upwards from its base. The emblem is in black, with its swastika and articulations in gilt. To the reverse is a 50mm long rifled pin and, embossed beneath its soldered base, "marked "RAD" within a triangle. M34 FEUERSCHUTZPOLIZEI DOUBLE DECAL HELMET w/ NEC
The stamped sheet steel construction, civic M34 "square dip" style helmet retains about 90% of its original black satin finish paint. The left side of the helmet has a, silver bordered, black based, police decal with the second pattern, silver, wreathed police eagle as introduced on July 28TH 1936 which is retained 98%. The right side of the helmet has a party shield decal which is retained about 98%. The helmet has two separate, groups of seven, "salt & pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 civic style, light tan leather liner. Liner is complete as shown. Original chinstrap is complete. and has original neck flap.

THE OFFICIAL YEARBOOK FOR THE YEAR 1942 The hardcover book with 116 pages was published by order of the Reichs Leadership of the R.A.D. (Reichsarbeitsdienst) and printed 1942 by Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin. The book gives a lot of in-depth information on the achievements of the Reichsarbeitsdienst that year, how foreigners see the RAD, etc. - very interesting historical material! US sales only
