WWII K-98 BAYONET JOS. CORTSS N 1938
Here's a beautiful example out my collection. The blade on this one rates EXC. It has beautiful blueing, a slightly bent tip and fit, and it hasn't been messed with . There are slight runner marks along with the common spots. The blade is stamped Jos Corts manufacturer. It is also stamped "1908 g" to the obverse matching the scabbard with the same markings. The scabbard is in great shape with minor dents . The brown wood grip plates are in great shape! They also have a perfect fit, being tightly secured by two screws/spanner nuts. This piece is profusely inspection stamped as one would expect. This one also comes the frog which is missing one rivert. Back of grip has some paint slatter which should come off. Overall this is a great early piece that is in really nice shape.
WWII GERMAN MADE HUNGARIAN VOLUNTEER SHIELD
This is a nice example of the colorful, 'BeVo-woven' armshield, as intended for a Hungarian volunteers within the 'Wehrmacht', depicting the interwoven 'BeVo - Wuppertal' makers'-mark, in very nice mint, unissued condition. The shield comes unfolded and complete: A nice and 100% original example intended for a volunteer in the 'Hungarian Legion'!
