LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL RUCKSACK
This rucksack is made of a greyish- blue canvas-like material in a fairly fine weave. It has all the correct straps and leather buckles on the front pouches. The shoulder straps are thick, wide, leather. They each attach at the top rear of the bag to a large D ring, which is itself secured to a leather tab. All of the straps show normal wear and light soiling, but are completely sound. The bag interior is in good shape. The original drawstring cord is present and sound. The rucksack material has a couple of small tears, but other than for light soiling is quite good.I don't see any markings. Real serviceable example.
WWII K-98 BAYONET JOS. CORTSS N 1938
Here's a beautiful example out my collection. The blade on this one rates EXC. It has beautiful blueing, a slightly bent tip and fit, and it hasn't been messed with . There are slight runner marks along with the common spots. The blade is stamped Jos Corts manufacturer. It is also stamped "1908 g" to the obverse matching the scabbard with the same markings. The scabbard is in great shape with minor dents . The brown wood grip plates are in great shape! They also have a perfect fit, being tightly secured by two screws/spanner nuts. This piece is profusely inspection stamped as one would expect. This one also comes the frog which is missing one rivert. Back of grip has some paint slatter which should come off. Overall this is a great early piece that is in really nice shape.
