WWII GERMAN SA BROWNSHIRT
SA BROWNSHIRT – This is an early sa brownshirt jacket which has been in my collection since the mid-sixties. As with many early sa jackets all the insignia is hand sewn on as many lower level members did not use the tailor shop. The early arm band is multi construction and embroidered (not printed) The sleeve was wider than the armband so an extra piece was sewn on as pictured. The sa insignia is light blue and white. Buttons are present except for the cuffs have cuff links the source of which are unknown to me. There is no evidence of a label as this jacket predates the RZM regulations. There may have been belt support hooks at one time but they are no longer present. There are no tears or mothing that I see except for minor interior tears where the belt hooks were. These jackets are becoming very hard to find. CONSIGNMENT TP
WWII GERMAN PANZER EM/NCO NAMED VISOR CAP
A superb example of a high quality visor cap for an enlisted man or NCO of the Panzer troops. The cap has a excellent shape and it is quite clean, without holes or tears. The interior shows minimal wear and has the owners name handwritten on a slip of paper beneath the full celluloid sweat shield. The band is the lighter green and has the silver washed insignia. A great hat.

The cap is trimmed with carmine wool truppenfarbe piping. The front center of the cap has a machine woven, second pattern, (circa June 1936-May 1945), wreathed, police style national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons, in white rayon threads on a, woven black trapezoidal, rayon base. The insignia is original machine stitching to the cap. This cap has never been used. Large size.
