WWII K-98 WITH TROPICAL FROG
This combat bayonet is mismatched but it appears to have been together and is still in good condition throughout. The hilt has surface rust and has the waffenamt on the reverse of the pommel. The grip plates are the brown Bakelite type and they are also in excellent condition. The scabbard is straight throughout and has surface rust. It is not bad, though. Comes with a very nice tropical webbed frog and looks like it was replaced a long time ago. As the arch shaped line from the old leather type bayonet is down further than the border of the tropical web. This is an original tropical example and is in choice condition, being olive drab color and having the grip retainer strap . The blade of this example is in choice condition, having nearly all of the blue surfaces. The obverse ricasso is marked 44 ddl and the reverse is marked "9701" Because of the tropical frog, it is hard to see the numbers on the scabbard but I can make out the last digit and it does not match those of the bayonet.
WAFFEN-SS BEVO COLLAR TAB
This is a text book Waffen-SS BeVo style collar-tab (silver-grey runes on black cotton) in absolutely stone-mint, unissued condition. This one has the text-book, white colored ('Buckram') backing originally attached. These original Waffen-SS tabs are getting harder and harder to find! A nice original BeVo tab that cannot be upgraded!
ARMY TROPICAL BELT & BUCKLE WITH WEB TAB
This is a pressed steel example with a field grey finish that is an honest to goodness 99% intact! The field is smooth, with no wear to the highlights. The reverse features a round bar with flat feet welded to the buckle for a belt catch. It is stamped (41) under roller bar. A full excellent example! The belt has wear and rust to metal catch. Leather is nice with SY written on it. Belt has ink stamp but i cannot read, belt and catch are 37 1/4 inches overall. Nice set with different wear but came form vet together.
ARMY GREEN STEEL BUCKLE AND TAB
Nice example with approximately 80% of the original matte olive green combat paint intact. There is moderate wear to the highlights. Most of the paint is present on the reverse, with the catch being the inverted "U" style with flat feet. The brown leather pull-tab is crisply marked "BRUDERSCHNNEIDER 1942. A sound, example.
