Deutsche Reichsbahn (D R) Dinner Knife from Herma
Deutsche Reichsbahn (D R) Dinner Knife from Herman Görings Personal Train-Beautiful piece measuring approximately 8 3/8 long. The blade is marked with a W and Nicht Rostend (stainless). The W stands for Gustav Wirth. The wagon number 244 which is Görings dining car is deeply stamped into the top of the handle where it is closest to the blade. On one side is the prominent political eagle flanked by D R. A true piece of Hermann Göring memorabilia The author James A.Yannes points out in his recently published book, The Collectable Spoons of the Third Reich, that Hermann Goring (Reichsmarsal) had two personal trains. His primary private dining car was #10243 (243) for short. Other cars were 233, 234 and 244 and are usually marked by the numerals (90).
WWII GERMAN PIONEER SIGNAL BLITZ WHITE PIPING
Signals trade badge is in the form of a vertically oval, very dark, blue/green badge cloth base with a central, machine embroidered, downward pointing, blitz arrow in Black threads and outlined in white. The insignia is in overall excellent, unissued. Scarce item.
WWII DESTROYER BADGE
A Destroyer Badge in Great Condition by the maker JFS. The JFS is in raised letters to the reverse of the boat and the gilded and silver finish is about 95% intact. A nice badge for any collection. Acquired by me
GAU LEVEL COLLAR TAB
Red velvet construction collar tab with two gilt/aluminum "L" shaped tress stripes with interwoven swastikas. The collar tab is piped in Red rayon cord and mounted on woven tan buckram bases. The collar tab represents a Zellenleiter, (Cell Leader) at the Gau level of government. Nice worn and used example. some mothing as shown.
SS SLEEVE EAGLE WITH WOOL SLEEVE MATERIAL
SS sleeve eagle machine sewn and still attached to a section of green/gray wool sleeve. 5 by 3 1/2 inches. Super rare to find.
WWII ADOLF HITLER THANK YOU CARD FOR HIS BIRTHDAY
Rarely seen in the original envelope, It's a facsimile signature from A.H. for his birthday 4 3/4'' x 7 3/4'' envelope has stamp and return address. Would be nice framed.
DANZIG CROSS MEDAL BAR
Danzig Faithful Service Medal 1938 as shown in Formans 1993 book. This is a medal bar from a very old collection. The cross is in silver and marked as pictured. These crosses are seldom seen and considered very scarce and even more scarce on a medal bar.
