RARE KRIEGSMARINE PITH HELMET
A nice of a lightweight pith helmet, covered with a medium tan cloth. The outer brim is trimmed with a light brown leather with some scuffing. The right side has a very thin, aluminum tri-color shield with little scuffing. The left side has a Kriegsmarine eagle in gold over a black background, this to has scuffing. There is a light brown leather chinstrap that is worn but complete. The medium green cloth lined interior is in nice shape. It has a light brown leather sweatband that is ink stamped on the underside with the size (55), the manufactures info (ORL), the date of production ( 1941) , and a maker stamp on the outside of sweat band. A hard to find pith helmet in very nice shape.
SS K-98 BAYONET
This is a nice example of a K98 bayonet. Bayonet has the the manufacturer's name " Paul Weyersberg & Co Solingen " on one side and 4360, R.P. on the other, bayonet has no Waffenamt markings. The bayonet has red bakelite grips and retains most of its original bluing. There are no marking on scabbard, scabbard has most of finish but has small dent. Frog is missing cross strap and is SS marked to rear. SS 48/38 rzm croupo?? Vet acquired. Very nice condition.
DLV VISOR CAP INSIGNIA
Die struck, two piece construction, red and black enamel, two prongs on back. Maker marked Wilh. Deumer Ludenscheid and Ges. Gesch, slightly vaulted. 2 3/4 by 1 1/4
SA SPORTS BADGE IN GOLD CLOTH
Nice gold award on cotton. Nicely detailed badge that is rarer in cloth than metal! Just the slightest age. Approx 3 x 2 1/4 inches.
LW PANZER EAGLE VERY RARE
Foreign made, unissued example of a machine embroidered breast eagle in silvery-blue thread on a black backing for Luftwaffe Panzer Troops. The details are out lined in orange. Scarce piece of insignia!
NSDAP SUPPORTER BUCKLE
Early 1930's steel buckle 34mm by 45mm, bright silver tone. 95% original finish with red,white and black celloid center. DRGM marked.
PANZER TANK PLAQUE FOR ALBUM
Great looking item, i would think it is for a photo album cover. 3 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches. Has prongs on back and all are present.
NAVY K-98 BAYONET MINT
This is your typical early period example, displaying the smooth finish to the hilt and scabbard. The hilt surfaces display no wear. The mortise button is fully functional and upon closer examination is stamped (37). The reverse, upper pommel edge is twice Waffen-Amt stamped with the number 37 below. The grip plates are the purple bakelite style exhibiting a few scratches! They are retained by the standard screws and spanners showing no wear. The blade has a blued finish, grading 95% with the wear confined to the runner areas. The blade grades excellent! The obverse ricasso is stamped with the serial number 3697 over the letter e. The reverse ricasso is stamped with the maker's name , GEBR HELLER Finally, the spine is stamped with the number 39, which signifies that this piece was made in the year 1939. The straight scabbard, like the bayonet itself, has a smooth finish. The reverse scabbard ball is stamped with a single mark ? . The obverse scabbard throat area is matching stamped the serial number 3697 over the letter e. The frog is the smoothtexture variety, without a retaining strap, exhibiting little wear, grading excellent-. The reverse side is stamped with a Unit marking (M) for navy! And is maker marked and dated 1941. The frog grades excellent. A NICE piece for a combat display!
RARE NAVY EM/NCO BUCKLE IN GOLD
Early, injection molded aluminum buckle, with tab. The buckle retains about 85% of the original finish. Buckle is marked R.S & S. Leather tab is marked with maker and dated 1938 and also marked with a eagle and swastika over a M indicating Kriegsmarine issue. Very rare buckle missing from most collections.
REICHSBAHN/BAHNSCHUTZ EM/NCO BUCKLE
This is a pressed steel example with a silver painted finish that is approximately 75% intact. The field is pebbled, with very minor wear to the highlights. The reverse features a round bar with flat feet welded to the buckle for a belt catch. There is a moderate amount of rust on the buckle. A nice example!
