WWII GERMAN WHITE SA OSAF STAFF TUNIC RARE

WWII GERMAN WHITE SA OSAF STAFF TUNIC RARE

Rare tunic of the SA staff with Blood order ribbon. Named and comes with riding breeches, tunic has yellowed. Tabs and boards are crimson. Looks like Dr. Sonnenleitner on label, Nothing glows. .just a note from a customer to say that the SA-Standartenfuhrer's tunic is almost certainly that of Franz von Sonnleithner who was a Blood Order recipient and was a diplomatic officer on Ribbentrop's staff. He was present when the bomb went off in the Wolf's Lair on 20 July '44 and consequently received the special wound badge. Born in Salzburg in 1905, he survived the war and died in 1981. I've attached a photo of the tailor's label in his diplomatic uniform jacket which was sold by Andreas Thiess in 2008.......same tailor and signature. That diplomatic tunic bore a spurious medal ribbon bar which included WW1 awards (born 1905 ???). He was Austrian in origin and got his Blood Order at the end of 1939 / beginning of 1940. *CDR*
