CASED 1936 OLYMPIC GAMES COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL
Roughly 37mm diameter, silver plated, die struck steel medal, with suspension ring and ribbon. The medal features, to its obverse, a spread-winged eagle clutching a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, which has "19" and "36" to either side of it, all against a column surmounted by the five Olympic "rings." To the reverse is the script, "Für Verdienstvolle Mitarbeit Bei Den Olympischen Spielen 1936" (For Meritorious Collaboration At The Olympic Games 1936), with a spray of oak leaves beneath. The award comes its original red rayon ribbon with narrow black edge stripes and five narrow central stripes with original pin back device. The award comes housed in its original 65mm x 112mm, wooden construction presentation case with a white simulated grained leather covering with the Olympic "rings" impressed in gold to the top cover. The case has a magnetic, staggered internal bar hinge to the reverse and a non-magnetic catch.The interior of the case has a very pale grey satin lining to the top lid and a grey velvet lining to the bottom with a cut-out circular recessed area for the award and a small rectangular area for the ribbon pin back device. The case shows minor age yellowed to both interior and exterior. Nice untouched original example.
WWII GERMAN HJ OVERSEAS CAP
A tan-colored cotton twill cap, with an expansion fold along its crown and whose fold-down side panels are permanently sewn in an upright position. The upper edges of the panels are piped in red.The interior is fully lined in tan-colored rayon. RZM tag is still present. Full sweatband. Shows some wear.
WWII GERMAN EM/NCO'S TROPICAL OVERSEAS/M41 CAP E
Machine woven national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it’s talons in blue/grey rayon threads on a woven, tan rayon base. The eagle is still on its original woven tan rayon factory roll.
WWII GERMAN NSDAP POLITICAL LEADER'S BELT & BELT
The buckle is marked "RZM M4/27" and the belt fitting is marked, "RZM M4/72". Both leather keepers are present. The belt is supple. 46 inches long. Has black RZM stamp on belt, hard to read. Very nice condition.
WWII GERMAN PANZER OFFICER'S M35 DRESS TUNIC COL
The collar tabs features hand embroidered litzen in bright silver/aluminum wire threads with the regulations "V" pattern silver/aluminum wire "branch of service" stripes mounted on a Pink wool base. The Pink wool base shows through as the center stripe of the litzen. The base is mounted on a light tan buckram backing. Excellent tabs. Moth bites to the back only.
