 WWII KUBAN CAMPAIGN SHIELD

WWII KUBAN CAMPAIGN SHIELD

'Kuban' campaign-shield on field-grey - used & uniform-removed but very nice condition! This is a very nice example of the WH (Heer or Waffen-SS) 'Kuban' campaign shield on field-grey cloth. The shield is complete with its metal back-plate and 4 untouched prongs. This one has truly stunning detail and has clearly been on a uniform at one time. They are actually quite scarce! A very nice & original example!

WWII GERMAN / ITALIAN MEDAL BAR

WWII GERMAN / ITALIAN MEDAL BAR

Odd bar with device to top. The device is known as an RSI Badge (Republica Sociale Italiana). It is classified as a sympathy badge Italians could wear to show their support for Mussolini's new Fascist state (nazi-puppet state) formed in 1943. What it is doing on a medal bar is anybody's guess, but the wearer apparently wanted to show that he was a fascist supporter. This bar is questionable as to when it was assembled.
