KRIEGSMARINE EM\'S TAN WORK SHIRT
Standard issue, unbleached, natural tan, cotton/rayon blend construction pullover work shirt with an HBT, (Herring Bone Twill), weave features a central, front, V-neck slash opening with dual, twisted, tie cords and an integral, fold back, rectangular collar. The fold back, rectangular collar hangs over the top reverse of the shirt. The reverse of the V-neck slash has a vertically rectangular, dual-ply reinforcement panel machine stitched in place. The right breast has a large, vertically rectangular patch pocket. The shirt doesnt have a breast eagle as per regulations. The straight cut sleeve cuffs have a small vertical slash to the inside seams with a single, stamped, natural aluminum closure button to each. The bottom edge of the tail skirt has a dual-ply hem and a small, internal, dual-ply, vertically rectangular reinforcement panel with a single stitched eyelet to each side seam designed to secure the shirt to the pants. The shirt still has a light weight, natural tan cardstock tag handstitched to the upper left breast . Has Maker marks under collar. The shirt is in overall excellent, unissued condition with minimal age toning and the cuff buttons have their original stitching. The work shirts were designed to be a loose fitting item and this example is roughly a size 42" chest. These just came out of NORWAY.
WWII GERMAN SS MOUNTAIN TROOP PATCH
Roughly, 3" tall, 2 3/8" wide, vertically oval, black wool base with a machine embroidered Edelweiss with fourteen, irregular, silver/grey petals, a seven bulb, yellow stamen and dual silver/grey leaves and a stem all in rayon threads. The Edelweiss is encompassed by a fine, machine embroidered, silver/grey cotton, oval outer border stripe. The insignia is in overall very good, unissued condition with minimal age toning.
WWII GERMAN 34th INFANTRY REG of 1st Co. HEILBRONN
Nice looking photo album of the 34th Infantry Regiment of 1st Company out of Heilbronn. The photos in the album are no longer there but still a very attractive album as a whole in great condition featuring a metal helmet on front with chrome-line finish.
