WWII GERMAN RAD LEADERS ARMBAND
Constructed of brown cotton, trimmed at both the top and bottom with machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire bands, the exterior bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire RAD insignia inside of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, topped by a German national eagle.
WWII GERMAN SILVER WOUND BADGE
Roughly, 1 3/4\", (4.4 cm), tall, 1 3/8\", (3.5cm), wide, vertically oval, standard, 1939 pattern, die struck, solid backed, alloy construction badge with a silver washed finish features an embossed M35 pattern helmet with a high relief, canted, swastika to the center, superimposed over crossed swords on a pebbled base encompassed by an oval laurel leaf wreath. The silver wash is only retained about 25% . The solid reverse has a crimped, soldered, hinge on a rectangular base plate, inset into a rectangular recess, a thin, round, vertical, pin and a soldered, oval base plate, inset into an oval recess, intended for the catch . The reverse of the badge is well marked with the embossed manufacturers formally approved numerical code within an elongated, oval cartouche, \"107\", indicating manufacture by Carl Wild of Hamburg.
EM/NCO\'S WIRELESS OPERATOR\'S/AIR GUNNER\'S
The EM/NCOs machine embroidered badge is in the form of a vertically oval wreath, with laurel leaves to the right side and oak-leaves to the left side, in light, silvery/grey, rayon threads encompassing a stylized national eagle in flight, clutching dual lightening bolts in its talons, in darker silvery/grey rayon threads, on a cut-out Luftwaffe blue/grey wool base, no damage.
WWII GERMAN EM/NCO\'S M44 TRAPEZOID CAP INSIGNIA
Machine embroidered national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons in silver/grey rayon threads, positioned above a national tri-color cockade with a black outer circle encompassing a white inner circle and a red center dot, on a loosely woven, brownish/field-grey rayon trapezoidal base. The outer edge of the trapezoidal base has reinforcement stitching in the same silver/grey threads as the eagle.
