The HAUPTGEFREITER'S rank insignia consists of a triple, machine woven, subdued blue/grey rayon, waffle patterned, chevrons machine stitched on an inverted, triangular, black cotton base with an HBT, (Herring Bone Twill), weave. The insignia is in overall good condition.
